Tulips 2

‘Tulips 2’ is inspired by some lovely Tulips I was given. I made a two versions (Tulips 1 is the other one – original I know!) to try a different composition, background colour, marks and strokes. I worked on them at the same time.

I mostly paint first thing in the morning after walking the dog, and paint until I have got the feeling down. Sometimes I’ll keep coming back during the day if something is bugging me, but rarely take them into the next day because I don’t want to lose the energy.
