Happy

 

Happy – a painting on paper. Working on paper is where my mojo gets fed and where I am most free. The page first has a loosely painted coat of Gesso and left to dry before painting. This adds a slightly mellow creamy white base note to the painting and it’s loose edges add to the energy of the painting (see pic).

Happy – what’s more happy than yellow to lift you up 🙂

The painting is shown uncropped and cropped, it’s amazing how different the image looks either way.

42 x 28 cm (approx. 16.5 x 11 inches) Acrylic on 200gm paper. Finished with a Matt varnish spray. Signed.

Photographed in natural light. Colours may look a bit different in real life, but have done my best to visually colour match!

Painting is UNFRAMED.
