Description

‘Candour’ Is an moody faux landscape artwork printed on Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching.

‘Candour’ is a Giclee print of my original acrylic painting. It’s third and sister to ‘Fervour‘ and ‘Savour‘ that started with the notion of it being good enough to eat! Playing with [De] vour consuming something quickly and eagerly 😉 In the spirit of the word structure of devour – I have called this ‘Candour.

Blue for me is the colour most associated with honesty, so seemed right to call this ‘Candour’ for this blue-on-blues painting.

In my paintings you can often see the texture of the canvas where I push back through the paint to create textures and varying colour intensities. NOTE: The printed colours will vary slightly as the ink absorbs into the heavy watercolour-like paper.

This comes in three sizes printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper – a very matt, water colour-like paper.

The largest size is a limited edition of 100. It is printed and fulfilled by ‘The Print Space’.
