Nuzzle – Milner

 

The Nuzzle series are abstract paintings that capture the gentle closeness of forms leaning into one another –  balancing strength and softness where a bold field of colour brushes against another, their boundary both a line of separation and a site of intimacy.

Here in Nuzzle – Milner a dark blue grey nuzzles cadmium yellow. When I had laid down the first movements it struck me that the colours were almost the same brand colours I had created for the Milner Therapeutics Institute some years ago
