sketches – works on paper
Acrylic paintings generally at 42 x 28 cm (approx. 16.5 x 11 inches) on paper. Finished with a Matt varnish spray. Signed.
Paintings from the sketchbook. The sketchbook is where my mojo gets fed and where I am most free. The page first has a loosely painted coat of Gesso and left to dry before painting. This adds a slightly mellow creamy white base note to the painting and it’s loose edges add to the energy of the painting.
All the paintings have been photographed in natural light. Colours may look a bit different in real life, but have done my best to visually colour match. Frames shown are for display, they are UNFRAMED unless stated otherwise.
