Somewhere Nice

 

Painted in the dark days after Christmas, ‘Somewhere Nice’ reflects my simple need and want to be somewhere warm and sunny while winter carried on it’s business outside. Somewhere nice, like Nice – I love a play on words!

Bands of blue, coral and green suggest perhaps a distant horizon and open landscape, shaped more by mood than by place. It’s not about a particular destination, but a longing for light and warmth in the middle of a dour grey winter.
